Who We Are…
We are a group of fun loving, social women who enjoy getting together and supporting local causes and enhancing our community. We host monthly events – many of which are free to our members.
Our members, who range in age and stage of life all bring a unique perspective to the club. Started in Peterborough, the PWC is comprised of members residing in all towns of the ConVal school district. The club encourages and welcomes new members.
The PWC is a 501c3 charitable organization that is run by a board of directors, comprised of new and long-time PWC members.
What We Do…
We host fun welcoming events with a purpose! We enjoy making our community healthier and happier. Money raised through our events- whether big or small- help support our mission to connect, educate and empower women in our community.
Our annual meeting is the highlight of the year, where we gather for some fun social time, announce and award our three scholarship winners and install our new officers for the next fiscal year. This is a rewarding and emotional evening as we gather as a club to celebrate and support three outstanding females in our community.
Our History…
We stand on the shoulders of the courageous, dedicated, and smart women who have led the way for us since the beginning of the Peterborough Woman’s Club in 1897. We are proud of our 126-year-old history of women who made this region what it is today. We honor their legacy of giving and community engagement. We value their leadership. We delight in their vision as we continue the long traditions of the PWC. We are excited to walk in their path in the 21st century.
